Ways to support

More Than One Way to Make an Impact

01

Financial Support

Financial contributions may help Runway prepare its facility, acquire equipment and supplies, establish responsible operations, and develop future youth programming.

The website does not currently process online donations. Please contact Runway before sending a contribution so you can receive current giving instructions.

02

Community Sponsorship

Businesses, foundations, civic organizations, and community groups are invited to discuss sponsorship opportunities. Possible support may include startup needs, equipment, programming resources, community events, or other approved development priorities.

Important

  • Formal sponsorship packages and benefit levels have not been finalized.
  • No recognition, advertising, naming rights, exclusivity, or promotional benefit is guaranteed unless included in a written agreement.
  • Contacting Runway does not create a sponsorship agreement.
03

In-Kind Support

Runway may be able to use approved equipment, furnishings, supplies, technology, professional services, or other resources. Advance approval is required before anything is purchased, shipped, or dropped off.

When reaching out, please include

  • Description of the item or service
  • Quantity
  • Condition
  • Photos or specifications when applicable
  • Estimated fair-market value, if known
  • Availability timeline
  • Delivery or pickup requirements
  • Any restrictions attached to the offer

Runway may decline items or services that don't match its current needs, facility plans, safety requirements, available storage, or operating capacity.

04

Professional Expertise

Qualified professionals are invited to discuss contributing knowledge or services related to areas such as facility planning, safety and security, technology, youth-program development, accessibility, legal or financial administration, insurance and risk management, marketing and communications, and workforce and career development.

Professional offers will be reviewed based on Runway's current needs and capacity. Please provide only a general description initially and do not include confidential information.

05

Community Connections

Introductions to responsible businesses, funders, youth-serving organizations, educators, community leaders, and other relevant contacts may help Runway build relationships responsibly.

The process

How the Support Process Works

  1. Start the Conversation

Contact Runway and describe the type of support you're considering.

  2. Confirm the Current Need

Runway will review whether the contribution, sponsorship, item, service, or connection fits its current plans.

  3. Agree on the Details

Runway will confirm any applicable restrictions, delivery arrangements, recognition, documentation, or next steps before support is accepted.

  4. Complete and Document the Support

Once approved, Runway will provide the appropriate instructions and acknowledgment based on the type of support.

An email inquiry does not create an agreement or guarantee acceptance.

Stewardship

Building Runway Responsibly

  • Use organizational accounts and appropriate financial controls.
  • Maintain board oversight.
  • Document accepted contributions.
  • Track formally accepted donor restrictions.
  • Provide contribution acknowledgments when applicable.
  • Use resources for responsible nonprofit development and operations.
  • Communicate confirmed progress as Runway develops.

Responsible nonprofit development also requires facility, safety, staffing, administrative, compliance, and operating expenses — Runway won't claim that 100% of every contribution goes directly to programming.
