Find Your Way Forward.
Runway Youth Development Inc. is building an affordable, safe, and inclusive youth center where young people in Altus can learn, create, connect, lead, and prepare for what comes next.
We light the path. You choose the destination.
Runway Is Preparing for Takeoff
Runway Youth Development Inc. is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit developing after-school, summer, school-break, academic-support, enrichment, recreation, and leadership opportunities for Altus-area youth.
Runway is not open or enrolling yet.
We’re building this the right way — with community input, careful planning, and a lot still to confirm. This site will track our progress every step of the way.
Altus Families Are Helping Shape Runway
Early results from Runway's community survey (18 responses so far) — the survey remains open, and every response continues to shape what Runway builds.
89–94%
said they'd likely use Runway
94.4%
want summer programming
88.9%
want after-school programming
72.2%
expect to attend several times a week
83.3% of respondents also indicated a definite need for school-break or closure-day programming. These are early findings, not final numbers — the survey stays open as Runway keeps developing.
